Thinking Aloud

Conglomerate: geological term for a coarse sedimentary rock composed of fragments of other rocks (often pebbles) re-compacted and re-cemented in a matrix of finer material.

Between 1990 and 1996, Thinking Aloud recorded two albums’ worth of songs using the now-archaic means of a four-track cassette recorder. While these were fun to do, they lacked a certain … everything. In 2006 and 2007, with a new digital recording set up, this first published CD was recorded – a selection of some of those original songs, reworked and re-recorded with a bit more … everything.
